WHO WE ARE
Lisa Williams

Strategic Director
I am the adoptive parent of a teenage boy with complex needs stemming from early trauma and neurodivergence, who came out of school at the age of ten and remained without provision for a number of years. I have more than a decade of experience navigating systems across education, health and social care, and am now navigating adult services.
My previous career includes work in publishing and TV drama series.
I hold a PGCE in Secondary English and am an NPP-informed practitioner.
I’m a netball fanatic. I play with my team in a social league, and even when injured remain involved, organising the team and coaching them from the side of the court. And I hold a season ticket to watch my Superleague team, Manchester Thunder.
At ATTACH-Manchester, I lead in data protection, legal frameworks and the development of services.

Justine Giuffra

Operational Director
I am a children’s social worker and, since I qualified in 2002, I have worked mainly for the Local Authority, in child protection, leaving care, and as part of Manchester’s CAMHS LAC service. At CAMHS was when I started working using an attachment and trauma model, using DDP as the therapeutic approach.
As well as being one of the directors of ATTACH-Manchester, I currently also work part time for Adoption Now, a regional adoption agency, as an adoption support social worker. Within this role, I deliver a Therapeutic Parenting Group, support families to access the ASGSF, advocate for children and families with other agencies, working closely with schools to provide training and consultation to support their understanding of children’s needs and how to support them in school, and offer DDP and Theraplay to families.
I am a DDP-informed practitioner.
At ATTACH-Manchester, I lead in safeguarding, recruitment, the day-to-day running of the education service and the development of therapy services and training.

Jonathan Giuffra

Therapeutic Mentor
I have worked for ATTACH-Manchester since the company began direct work with the first young person in Spring 2023. I work with a variety of young people who have faced significant challenges accessing mainstream education. I am a qualified teacher with a specialism in early years education.
I am an active musician and have played professionally in the past. I also enjoy sporting activities as well as having a keen interest in the arts. I enjoy reading and spending time in nature, especially bird watching.

Abi Healy
Therapeutic Mentor

I’m an early years educator passionate about helping children and young people thrive. After earning my BA (Hons) in Early Childhood Studies, I gained broad experience in family and community support through roles such as Playworker, Client Adviser at the General Medical Council, and as an outreach worker for Trafford Council.
I completed my Early Years PGCE in 2012 and have since taught across Manchester, including in Salford, Old Trafford, Cheetham Hill, and Rusholme. I taught mainly within the Early Years, but also have experience across all key stages.
I value mental health and wellbeing. I enjoy yoga, swimming, meditation, reading, and I am rekindling my love for playing the classical guitar.
Since joining ATTACH-Manchester in January 2025, I’ve felt deeply aligned with the organisation's values and vision. I’m inspired by how we share a commitment to truly listening to young people and their families, and putting their needs at the centre of all we do. I’m excited to keep learning and growing, along with ATTACH-Manchester.

Lynn Liggett

Therapeutic Mentor
I am a primary school teacher with 30 years of experience working with children across all ages, from Nursery through to Year 6. Throughout my career, I have held many roles, including classroom teacher, Art and DT coordinator, pastoral teacher and specialist intervention teacher.
I have extensive experience supporting children who have found school and life challenging, working with whole classes, small groups, individuals on a 1:1 basis, and alongside parents and caregivers.
The children I have supported have had a wide range of needs, including SEND, SEMH, attachment- and trauma-related needs, as well as pastoral support needs. I have benefited from regular training in these areas, enabling me to draw on a broad range of strategies to find what best suits each individual child.

Nathan Nzeribe
Therapeutic Support Worker
I have a strong background in people‑focused roles. I began my career in residential support work, where I developed a passion for helping individuals overcome challenges and build confidence.
I later moved into the corporate insurance industry as a claims auditor, which helped me develop valuable professional and analytical skills. However, I felt a growing desire to return to more meaningful, person‑centred work.
That led me to retrain as a personal trainer, focusing on helping beginners improve their physical health, build confidence and develop sustainable habits.
Now, I work with teenagers and young adults who may struggle in traditional education settings. Through mentoring, physical activity and positive role modelling, I aim to help young people develop resilience, self‑belief and the skills they need to move forward positively in life.
